Coming back from the front, Dr. Jonathan Reid awakens in a war-torn London and pestilence, discovering a world of evil creatures, secret societies and vampire hunting.
In Vampyr, you play the role of Jonathan Reid in a London of 1918 who, upon returning from the Great War, discovers that he has turned into a vampire. All his convictions are overwhelmed by the discovery of the existence of a new dark world, where supernatural creatures and secret societies live together in the shadows … and now he too is part of it.
Rediscovering a vampire distraught by an irrepressible thirst for blood and catapulted into this strange new world, Reid tries to interpret everything in the best way he knows: with rational thought. Unfortunately, among secret societies, mysterious murders and an imminent hunt for large-scale vampires, its scientific certainties will be put to the test.
